Drug & Alcohol Testing
The conventional services of drug and alcohol testing have undergone significant changes over the past few years. When it comes to substance abuse, “business as usual” doesn’t work. Ship to Shore offers a variety of alternatives to accommodate the needs of our clients. In addition to the traditional urine lab-based test, we offer rapid and oral fluid testing.
The standard five-panel test may no longer cover all the drugs of abuse currently on the market. Ship to Shore can design a panel to meet your specific needs, including Fentanyl and other synthetic drugs.
On-call On-site Services
Our on-call services provide specimen collectors and breath alcohol technicians for pre-employment, random testing, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, return to duty, and follow-up testing.

Policy Development
Ship to Shore develops programs and policies to comply with State Regulatory bodies, Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations, Health and Human Services (HHS) Mandatory Guidelines, Drug Free Workplace Act, and State Laws.
Before implementing any testing program, it is important to have a well-written policy established. Ship to Shore assists clients with policy development by addressing all concerns that may arise during the testing process. Supervisory training and employee education are an integral part of any program. Ship to Shore provides a personalized program to instill the importance of your company’s policy.
MRO Services
The Medical Review Officer (MRO) is a licensed physician specifically trained to understand the results of drug testing. The MRO maintains the highest scientific and medical standard of test interpretation and is continually updated on legislative and laboratory changes. MRO Services are a vital component of an effective substance abuse program.
If you do not currently utilize an MRO in your drug testing program, Ship to Shore can provide one to you. Our chief MRO maintains certification from MROCC, fulfilling the requirements set forth in the DOT standard. Our MRO and support staff are knowledgeable of their responsibilities in the verification process, confidentiality, release of information, and reporting procedures.
The Medical Review process guarantees:
